About The Centre

We named the centre For the Love of It because our objective and aim is to instill our students with the same love of the performing arts that we ourselves have always been endeared to. We hope that our students will love their experiences with us while they develop new skills, increase their self confidence and express themselves with exuberance and enthusiasm.

For The Love of It Performing Arts Centre is celebrating its 10 year anniversary, located at the Beaches Presbyterian Church at 65 Glen Manor Drive, just south of Queen St. Our facilities include three spacious dance studios with dance flooring and wall-to-wall mirrors.

We are a performing arts centre that offers a very wide range of dance classes from Beginner up to Pre-Professional levels, singing lessons, acting workshops and Musical Theatre. At the end of each year we put on two great shows. A Dance Show and a full-scale Musical for family, friends and members of the community to come out and enjoy.

Our teachers are all professionals who have had very accomplished careers and many years of teaching experience.
At For the Love of It we believe that performing arts classes should be an enriching and confidence building experience and that is why our approach is to teach in a positive and nurturing environment. We also believe that our students deserve the best quality instruction and that is why all of our teachers are experienced professional dancers and performers. We combine the very best teachers with what we believe to be a refreshing, new approach to teaching; teaching through inspiration and encouragement so students are enjoying our classes while they are learning.
