It is an incredible experience for students to perform in a full length musical at a professional theatre venue.  Some of our former Musical Theatre students have gone on to pursue acting, singing and dance studies at post-secondary Performing Arts Schools and professionally.  One of our former dance student’s Francesca McGrory, who played the lead roles in our productions of High School Musical and Hairspray Revue, is now living in New York City attending the AMDA (American Academy of Dramatic Arts) and hoping to pursue a career on Broadway!

When you sign up for the Musical Theatre program you register to participate in a weekly class.  There will also be 2 Friday rehearsals each term.  All students attending the Musical Theatre program will be a member of the ensemble and will perform singing and dancing roles throughout the musical.  There will be auditions for lead roles in September once the term has begun.  Audition information will be sent home at the beginning of the term.  You must be a registered Musical Theatre student to audition for a role. 

All students taking the Musical Theatre classes will be a part of the Musical production!
